I have to go back to work tomorrow and I don't want to.  I found out that our client census is low.  I don't think it will get better until after the holidays.  People tend to want sobriety as a New Years resolution.  It is sort of like starting  a diet before Thanksgiving.  If I get laid off then I get unemployment and then I can stay home with my babies.  YUCK! I hate this!  I spent all that time in college and now all I want to do is stay home.  There is NO way we can make it work with out my income.  I feel lucky to have gotten 8 weeks but it just is not enough time.

Oh and Clint talked to our neighbor about watching the baby on Monday mornings while I sleep even though I told him not to.  I know it needed to be done but I was not ready.  I was inclined to just stay awake with her for a few more weeks until she is mobile.

sigh

ETA:  I wish to make amends for this post. I do not wish for any layoffs besides my own and this was insensitive to others who are out of work.  I need to feel greatful for the blessings that I have and not stress over what I do not.

((((Jorja))))  I know this is a hard day for you.  Many of us have BTDT and you are right that 8 weeks is NOT enough time to spend with a new addition to your family, but that is what the working world has come to.

About layoffs, be careful what you wish for.  LOL  I returned to work after 12 weeks of unpaid FMLA with Patrick and was laid-off the first morning,  While it might seem like a "blessing" of sorts, it sent me into a tailspin to find alternate employment in a job market that ain't so hot right now.

Just enjoy today with Dulcie-Ruth and don't think about 7:30 until it arrives.  ((((hugs))))

When I saw the title to this post I kind of giggled a little.  I know you musta felt strange posting that because of how horrible today's economy is and how hard it is to find a job, but I also knew EXACTLY why you were posting it.  I would feel exactly the same way and I am very blessed in that I get to work from hom so I can be with Chris.  So what...so you have a college degree...you can go back to working when the kiddos are older....I totally understand why you would want to be home now.  I also understand how you have to work.  It really STINKS!  LOL!  I'm not much help am I?  I guess I just want to say that it is okay for you to feel the way you do and I wish I could give you a big hug.
