Where is your Advanced Toddler / Preschooler during the day?

He's in a full-day, daycare-style pre-K program near our home.  When he was younger (4 mos-2.8 years) he went to daycare near my office, where I could visit him at lunchtime.  Last school year we had a rough period with a few false starts at mismatched nursery schools after which we kept him home with a nanny for a few months.  He returned to P/T nursery school last March, and then moved to his current program this September.

Do you get to stay home with him/her? Is s/her in daycare? Preschool?  See above.  I did spend a lot of time with him this summer, though, because I was on maternity leave from late May to Sept. 14.

Do you like where s/he is or would you change the situation if you could?  The current school is working well.  I wish his little brother could be at my workplace daycare instead of home with a sitter, though.

Does your child like being where s/he is during the day?  Yes.

Where is your Advanced Toddler / Preschooler during the day?  Well, I worked when she was a baby.  I decided to stay home when she turned one.  I taught preschool and I felt so guilty taking care of other people's kids and not my own.

Do you get to stay home with him/her? For the past 3 years Preschool? Two afternoons a week she goes to a co-op so I get to work there sometimes.  She loves it.  They offer a 3rd day for 4's, but they focus on a letter a week on Fridays and Sam is already reading at a second grade level, so we save $, but she still gets to play w/ other kids her age.

Do you like where s/he is or would you change the situation if you could?  Nope

Does your child like being where s/he is during the day?  Loves it!
