No tips here, but happy to brainstorm with you! My kids are 2, 4 and 5.5 so they should definitely have some easy chores by now, but I tend to be obsessive compulsive and do everything myself. I'm working on letting go and letting things be imperfect though, lol.
My daughter (5.5 yo) is responsible for putting her clothes away after I wash and fold them. We have a pretty easy system of tops in one drawer, bottoms in one, pj's in one. I help her with the (limited amount of) stuff that needs to be hung up.
My 4 yo son sets the table..if you can call it that, lol. He takes out a wash cloth for each of the kids and cloth napkins for the grown ups as well as silverware.
They all take their dishes to the sink after meals.
My 2 yo surprisingly loves to help unload the dishwasher. He knows pretty much where everything goes.
Someone on another board suggested a 5 Minute Chore Jar where they draw a chore written on a piece of paper. It should take no longer than 5 minutes and could be something like "Take a wet rag and wash down the fronts of the cabinets." Or something easy like that.
I thought that sounded like a good idea...
