Hi!

Do you hate sending your kids to school or am I alone here!LOL  I don't know what it is... but I hate sending my daughter to school.  We have so much fun when she's here, I know she has to go.  It's just such a hassle... she isn't even in kindergarten yet!!  I live 3/4 a mile off the road and will have to drive out there for the next... well almost 20 yrs by the time my son is done with school.  I just like having them home!  I think I will be the one with seperation anxiety next school yr!!!  Let me know how you feel!!!

Hi, this is the first time I've been to this board, but I so agree with your post!!  I have three children and my oldest is in 4th grade and I still hate sending her to school!!!  I also have to drive to the end of our road to and from the bus.  Such a hassle.  I worry about her when she is gone, and I miss her!  My second goes to kindergarten in the Fall and I'll hate that too!  You're not the only one!

Thanks! I'm glad to hear I'm not alone.   Some friends and a few relatives always say how they can't wait for school to start.  I dread it, don't get me wrong there are days that I'd like to run away for a few hours.  What mother doesn't want a little me time.  I just get so mad at these people for saying these things.  Our kids are only little once and no matter how trying they are, I want to spend as much time with them as I can!

Me too!!! I miss them everytime they leave the house. I am dreading when they reach college and they have to leave the house for a very looong time. Right now, I rely on the convenience of cellphones, haha. I have a prepaid-call plan from Airlink called Powerlink. It has unlimited airtime so I dont have to worry about credits and stuffs and its only $24. So great! I can call my kids during breaktime and we chat about how they do in school and if they get stars or what they like for dinner and I just cant wait for them to go home.

I know what you mean!  I am only sending her to preschool and I dread it.  I'll go nuts having to put her on the bus and letting her go herself.   Thank god, my inlaws live on the next road and she will ride the bus with her cousins and a boy we carpool with for preschool.  I guess I am having reservations with all the media attention on how the schools are.  I know she'll be fine it's me I'm worried about!!
