Closely-Spaced Siblings

I knew you came here to post and I had to find you.  I have been following your TTC blinkies, then I saw your pregnant until proven otherwise blinkie....so I had to find out if you were pregnant.  I see from your ticker that you are about 8 weeks.  I am so excited for you.  Congratz!  I cant believe you have a preschooler.  Where does the time go?

HI!  You are so sweet!!  Yes, we are PG!!  We ended up doing IVF and are PG with 1 little one, due June 10th.  We are still nervous but so, so excited :)

How is Dulcenea doing?  And the boys?  Do they just love their little sister?!  Her picture in your siggie is just precious!

Thanks again for "stalking" me!  hee-hee :)  I wasn't sure if I should post an update on the adoption boards or not, that is why I haven't.  I do lurk on there though and try to keep up with everyone!

You should update the adoption boards.  Everybody is generally so happy when someone gets pregnant by whatever means.  We have had a lot of surprises this year.  I think we just realize that children are miracles to be treasured.  There is actually a part of me that wants to try IVF next because adoption was sooo hard.  Of course I don't know much about the IVF process and that might be just as difficult.  I am sure the emotional upheaval is the same either way. 

The boys are head over heals in love with their new sister.  We all are but they have a special bond with her.  She beats them up and they kiss her.  It works!  This morning I heard them singing happy birthday to her on the baby monitor.  It allowed me an extra 30 minutes in bed! The only downside is the boys are close together in age and so much older then her.  I makes me want another little one close in age with Dulcinea.  I think it would be heavenly to have the kids age range at 12,10, 3,1 in a couple of years.  We wont start another adoption or fertility tx until she has been home 1 year.

I'm so glad everyone is getting along well :) I totally know what you mean about wanting another little one closer in age to Dulcinea. I sometimes worry about this baby since s/he will be 4 years younger than youngest DS when s/he is born. I think DH would kill me if I talked about 4 though...LOL (Although my hope is that Guatemala will open again soon...I would LOVE to adopt another little one from there!!)

If you ever want to talk about IVF I'm more than happy to share our story with you. We've done fertility treatments on and off for 6 years, so I unfortunately know a lot about it! This was our first attempt at IVF and we got lucky that first time was the charm :) It is definitely taxing like adoption is, but in a different way, if that makes sense? Different concerns, different worries and the fact that you are on meds and your hormones are everywhere... Anyway, just keep me in mind if you ever want any info. :)
