We are walking in a few weeks, on Oct 4th... we got a very late start in fundraising this year, we've just been so busy.. Wondering who else participates and when your walk is :)

We did the walk on August 26th, it was our first year, and we too got a late start fundraising. I walked with my son and daughter and we raised over $500 between us.  It was way more crowded than I anticipated.  I think they said there were over 4000 people.  I emailed the coordinator to find out what the final tally was that our walk raised, and it was $550,000!  Have a great time at your walk.

Our walk is October 3rd, at Guasti Park in Ontario, California.  This will be our 7th walk we have participated in....

Our walk is always the first weekend in June and I/we have participated in it since ds was diagnosed 5 years ago.  We vary in how much fundraising we accumulate, but any amount is worth the effort.  Here's wishing everyone good weather and good walking on upcoming events!!

We are doing the ADA Step Out on Oct. 5. It is our first time so I'm amazed at the amount of money we got. Even without my brother's huge donation we have way more than I thought we'd get. Do your kids walk with you? Logan is signed up to walk, and I wanted to take the others but everyone else thinks it's too far to pull a wagon.
