Do you make up t-shirts for your diabetes walk teams? If so, do you ask team members to chip in for the cost or just pay for them? I didn't mind when it was just family on our team, but now my friend is coming (which will be fun) and she's bringing a bunch of friends too. WDYT?
You can ask for them to chip in, pay it yourself, or take it out of donations.. we are still using the t-shirts that we made Kaylee's first year.. so this is the 4th year.. I did take it out of donations because I couldn't afford to pay and I felt guilty about asking those that we giving up time and money already to walk, for money for a shirt.. BUT We will be doing new shirts next year and I will ask for $5 towards shirts.. which won't pay for it all, but it'll help with the cost.. when is your walk :)

The walk is Oct. 4. I already picked up most of my t-shirts - 10 of them for my family, my mom & dad, and my brother & his family. I wasn't going to ask them to pay, especially since my brother gave us a huge donation that might even have a company match. I'm not sure why the extra $30 for my friend and her friends has me worried. Maybe the $5 will be just right.
