Well sammy had to get his four months shots today...they're nasty. he's been fussy all day... but his god mother and i bought him a jumparoo thing that has a seat that spins around and has a bunch of stuff for him to play with. my friend has two god sons and she sent us an e-mail that instructed us to buy our son something nice, but over 50 and under a 100 and she'll go half on it. i found it on a fisher price website and we went to wal-mart (it was on sale...the fisher price website is selling it for like a 100) and got it after his shots. i put him in it long enough to make sure he's tall enough (the dr. called him short...i wanted to smack her) and took a picture and took him out so it didn't hurt his leg. i just put the batteries in it, when the baby jumps it rewards him/her with music and lights. i love it...and i think he does too but he was not into it too much. here's a pic of him in it.he looks mad but i think it's because he wasn't feeling too good.
Our experience was that the four month shots were the worst, too. DD still hates them, but she gets over them a lot quicker now. The jumperoo looks like a lot of fun - how nice that your friend helped out buying it!
That is great that he is enjoying it and that he has a way to get over the nasty shots. Thankfully for me Faith cries less than a min after her shots and then she is fine and forgets all about them.
