third girl!

I have to admit my heart sunk a little when she typed it onto the screen. (We had our two girls with us and we don't want them to know b/c they'll tell everyone!) But I'm going cross border shopping this weekend so I'm excited about buying more pink. And now I get to decorate another room.

Baby is perfectly healthy so it's a little hard to feel disappointed but I'm letting myself feel a little disappointed today. Tomorrow will be a new day and I know I'll forget that I ever had a preference for gender.

Awwww... I wish you were getting your little boy. It is definitely normal to feel some disappointment. But as you said, the little guy is healthy and that is all that matters.

**Lurking** I didn't sway b/c this pregnancy wasn't planned, but we were both hoping for a boy after 2 girls also. And, it's another girl :)  I actually think I took it harder than DH did... but she is healthy and that is all that matters. It honestly did take me a good week, maybe 2, to get over it, so to speak... but now I am exicted and my girls are excited to have a baby sister.

I just wanted to say I know exactly how you feel! :)

Thanks for the update, I'm so glad that your baby is healthy. I'm sure it was hard to type. But today is a new day, and I'm sure you are feeling better already. Plus, think of this, you will get to reuse so much of your other daughters' stuff that you will hardly need to buy this baby anything, so all that money goes to some new clothes to you!!
