Hey T

See he provides a service and the service was to help termanally ill people die with dignaty...

He was ahead of his time states will eventually pass laws in the assisted deaths of these people who have no chance to recover or live a normal life... And yes the Catholic Religious leaders will have much to say... But sometimes (Fill in with the supreme being you beleive in) is crule and makes a person suffer weeks months or even years in pain or in a coma feeling who knows...

And imagine you laying in bed unable to feed, talk, go to the bathroom or any thing else for your self...

Oh Yeah the topic He will use the money to fight the fight his cause for assisted death!!!! Who says he will profit I think he will use it for his cause Just like the The ones running for President for their over 1,000 dollar plates he will use it to to win or at least drum up support for his cause....

You don't have to preach to me about it. I think I've been the loudest voice in this thread FOR assisted suicide.

Terminal illness isn't the only reason for assisted suicide btw. What about those of us who are in pain every single day of our lives, pain that will only get worse over time, and that has no chance of ever actually ending it's life on it's own. Shouldn't we have the right to assisted suicide even though we aren't terminal when we decide that enough is enough?

<<<As I have stated mine. No one has the right to take the life of another. He killed people and was convicted of it.>>>

But do the *people* committing suicide have the right to take their own lives? I am still not clear as to whether you agree with that or not.

<<<He is an oddity because he is a serial killers who thinks of himself as something more. He is hot because serial killers always are look at dalmer and gacy. They probably would have been paid to write books and do interveiw if they were still among us and they were sick too.>>>

Jeffrey Dahmer raped, murdered and cannabalized his victims. John Wayne Gacy raped, murdered and buried his under his house. I see no parallels with Dr. Kevorkian whatsoever. Furthermore, anyone who wants to write a book can do so. "Sick" or not. It's up to the public to decide if they want to buy it or read it. We don't get to tell them they can't write the book, though.

<<<It can only be my opinion because sick people like this do make money off their crimes it is still legal to do so. And since he can't kill anyone for at least two years the guy has to make a buck somewhere lol.>>>

Well, I'm glad you can laugh about it. Unless you have some power of making book-writing illegal, maybe it's time to move on and just resolve not to buy his book or tickets to his speaking engagements. People will continue killing themselves even without Dr. Kevorkian's help, I promise.

>> if he was lecturing on how to avoid being his next victim <<

Uh, how about don't contact him?

Honestly, it's not like he went out seeking "victims" to "kill."

Thank you for asking, Catsmack. Things are going well, knock on wood.

How about you?
