Yes! I am from a family of five kids, which was really unusual back in the '80's when two kids seemed to be the norm. Recently, I've noticed that three kids seems to be the "new" two, and four is getting more common. Maybe I'm just more attuned to big families because I was part of one and we were such an aberation. It's really fascinating to me how mainstream it's getting. 3 kid families seem to be the norm in my area (I have two kids and am contemplating a third).
I read a statistic that something like 25% of births in a recent year were to moms who were having their 3rd or 4th child.
