I know a lot of us keep getting hit with snow, and even here in NC we've had a very unusual (or so I'm told since this has been our first winter/spring here) weather pattern. The kids here missed a lot of school this winter due to ice and snow (they got 7 inches and closed for 2 days, where in Indiana when we have 7 inches we all pull out our SUV's and run around in it while the kids are in school!)

Our daffodils have already bloomed, and we have two beautiful trees on either side of our front walk that have blooomed with wispy pink flowers, and in another week I think the flowers will be gone and leaves will have replaced them. 2 of our Azalea bushes have begun to bloom as well, and should be fully bloomed very soon. I will be taking pictures soon and will post them when I get them uploaded. :o) It truly has been gorgeous in Charlotte for several weeks now. I've (and I mean me, not my DH!!) had to mow my lawn 3 times already, and will need to again come Tuesday, providing it stops raining. LOL!

I hope there are flowers where you all are!

Hugs,

Brie

No flowers here yet, but I'm hopeful! Another 2 inches of snow last night!

I wanna live where you are ;) We just had a big snow storm yesterday so the few brave crocus that were starting to poke out their little heads are hidden once again! I was feeling really good with spring coming, a new beginning and all that. Guess I'll have to wait a few more weeks here. Send some sunshine our way would you? ;)

We are eager for spring, too, because of our extreme and long winter(in NJ).

Today is cool and rainy, but we are definitely seeing flowering trees, tulips (my favorite), little wildflowers. The experts say that with cooler temps, the blooms will last longer. Sometimes we get spring for two days and then it's 80 degrees until October. Not this year. Technically our last frost is May 15, I'll have to keep my seedlings alive for two more weeks. I love Spring.

We're having mother's day at our house so I want to get some annuals planted before then. (But I'm posting a list of forbidden topics. Can you guess what's at the top of the list?)
