I'm Annie, mom to 2 crazy boys and soon-to-be Army wife.  I'm here to see how others handle the life and hope to learn that the other board I looked at was just a bunch of Bitter Betties and it really IS a good living!

No Christmas shopping this year.  The money just isn't there so we have to ditch the holidays completely. (fret not about the kids, they aren't old enough to understand holidays anyway)

I'm Annette. DH has been in the Army for 18 years. We are at our 12th Duty Station. We have 5 kids ages 12-2 and are expecting #6 in June.

As for the holidays, I've started when I see a great sale and of course, the T 'r S big book came in the newspaper this weekend so everyone has been through it and labled "what they want " - of course, that ain't gonna be what they get, necessarily.

I'm Sue married to my Dh Alan. We have been married for 14 years.  We have two kids, Kimber and John. Three fur kids, one dog and two cats!!! Alan has been in the Air Force for 18 years. We are at our  5 duty station and should be our last. This is home for me.

I have not started my Christmas shopping. I'm usually done by now. With me not working this year it has put me behind. But I will be starting this week. Hope to get it all done and some great buys before Thanks Giving.

I'm Anne, and DH is AD Navy.  This is our 4th Duty Station, and DH has been AD for 8 years (including one year as a mobilized reservist).  We have 4 kids.

No, I have not started Christmas shopping yet; but I'm getting ideas from the kids.
