I live on Long Island and there wasn't much of a wait.  It might have been about five minutes.

Hey Rose, vote FIRST, then go to Starbucks!   Starbucks is giving a free coffee to those who vote today!  (got an email from them yesterday saying so!  They have my email because I reload my dh's card online...)

My polling place is right across the street, so I'll walk the girls to school, then head there on the way back!  I've never had to wait to vote there, but I will report back.  Actually I'd be pretty excited if there WAS a line!   Dh is bummed, he has to BE at work at 7am in Madera, so he can't vote until this afternoon....

I went at 7:30 a.m. and walked right in and voted.  The line was forming as I left at 7:40 :)

I hope all goes smoothly today at all the polling places!

I just voted in northern Arizona; it was not really that busy.  I didn't have to wait at all.  It was weird though- I'm used to e-voting and in Arizona they use paper ballots- it felt very old fashioned, like when I would go to vote with my mom.  I was also the youngest person in the room by a good twenty years!  But it was early and I suspect my fellow college students are not so enthusiastic about waking up at 6am to vote.  They will likely vote later in the day.

I was in and out in 10 minutes.  It was not bad all at.  I went at 7:30 this morning.  The lady who verified my information said that first thing this morning the line was out the door and in the parking lot.  She said it went pretty smooth with no issues.
