So I'm a SAHM and I don't get out much...so Iwas looking forward to taking my little one out for Halloween. SO this morning he falls and smashed his face off of his playhouse in the living room....producing a spectacular black eye.  He's fine...just looks terrible.

*Sighs* SO much for going out tonight....ugh....Just disappointed that's all.

Thanks for reading....had to let that out.

Well..What if someone just saw a toddler with a black eye and called DCFS? I'd loose him forever. It's easily explainable if someone asks...I'm just afraid they wouldn't and would  call children's services on me. Those people terrify me.

I am sorry he was hurt, but I don't know anyone who would just call DSS over a black eye.  I have an entire collage hanging on my wall with RJ and his first black eye.  It happens!

Why is it that if I don't live "within my means", there are serious consequences (bankruptcy) for which I am solely responsible, but when the government doesn't live within its means, I am expected to bail it out?

You're probably right..but they just did a big news story locally..about a woman who's little boy broke an arm playing soccer (he was like 4 I think)..someone saw the cast....called DCFS...and she lost her little boy for 8 years and had to fight to get him back..even though she did nothing wrong...It terrified me...*sighs*

I should stop watching the news..heh.
