Oh, man. It was SOOO funny how pitiful my cake was. It was the "So ugly it's cute" cake, the "charlie brown bakes a cake" cake, the "its supposed to look like a haunted house" cake, the "poor, poor Jacie" cake, and the "well, it smells really good" cake.
The other funny thing is I thought I was going to win because there was no competition. Then someone brought in a candy corn cake and this other person, just before the judging, brings out this GORGEOUS all organic cake, with peaches shaped like a jackolantern on top.
I got the "runner up", which means I beat the candy corn cake, and a store bought cupcake with a pirate flag stuck on top.
BTW: I replaced the missing parts from my cake decorating kit this weekend.
