Okay, criticize Palin all you want on her words, but don't you DARE go after her pink suit!  I genuinely LOVE Sarah's fashion sense.  I think she looks sharp even when she dressed casually.  I wouldn't choose some of those outfits for myself, but I still think she looks great.

I can't stand the poofy, pumped up hairstyle myself. But she stole some good clothes, especially that pink suit which I recall from her campaign days. ;)

I don't blame her either. IMO she got a taste of the much more exciting world outside of the doldrums of Alaska and is just waiting for something to spirit her away. A decent book deal perhaps? ;)

I think the campaign was right to spend that money on her clothes.  If they spent that money on ads, no one would have blinked an eye.  If they spent on consultants, speech writers, strategists, etc - it wouldn't have been reported.

Her clothes were an ad.  They were part of the image they were trying to project.  Her style was part of her message, and it kept people excited and paying attention.  What other candidate was being covered in style magazines.  No one cared about what Biden was wearing.

I LOVED the outfit she wore to the hockey game (the one where the crowd rudely boo'd her infront of her young daughter).  That coat was divine.

I'm a big-haired broad myself (I blame it on being a Leo), so I'm all over the hair.

Me either.  I really thought it was some sort of joke, then I find out there are people that LOVE the look.

Ugh!  It bothers me no end that we still do this to women.  There's an uber-tacky discussion of the First Lady's appearance going on elsewhere on the internet as well.

I could care less what any woman politician wears so long as she knows her job.  Or, in SP's case, so long as she wears it far, far, far away from any position of influence in the U.S.   ;)
