I'm glad its Friday!

The plan for today...dh is home still because he has a conference at ds' school. I'm not going because I would just end up yelling at them and probably cause more harm than good. Dh is much calmer and can usually get his way because of it. So hopefully he will be able to get him switched out of the math class from hell! He had to redo another homework packet last night - 4 pages because one ONE page he forgot to simplify the fraction for his answer. Why can't he just go back and simply the ones he forgot? Or just mark those few problems wrong? Nope, its a 0 unless he redoes the WHOLE packet.

Its my day off the gym, so homework this morning. I have to recopy notes for geology, do some Spanish activities and take a quick spanish quiz.

The kids have a 1/2 day today, so ds will be home around noon, dd will be home around 1:30.

That's about it for the day. Looking forward to the weekend - no homework to do (this 2 class thing is really nice, means no weekend homework!)

BONUS - nope. I don't know when I will either. We only buy for the kids, the adults don't exchange gifts in our family and our kids are the ONLY kids on either side of the family. But I also have dd's bday on 11/26 and ds' bday on 12/5. Haven't even shopped for those yet!

Today is my last day of real studying for the GRE. I want to try and clear my mind Sat - craming is pointless at this point.

My youngest dd has had lots of stomach problems but on the mend !

I also get my next batch of cases to mark tonite so I have some work to do for that.

C. shopping - I bought 2 gift baskets at Costco a month ago, but no real shopping. I think for the kids I want to focus on one main thing and then a stocking. My dh always says don't buy him much and then last year he bought me a laptop.  This Christmas we will have 3 less family members (my MIL and 2 grandmothers). My MIL loved Christmas and we always went shopping boxing day together. It will be a little hard I think....

Wow, that sounds like a ridiculous math policy. Hope your DH is able to make progress in moving him.

Today is an easy day. PE class, we're just meeting to go over our lesson plan w/the teacher then I'm observing in my K class for the rest of the morning. Lunch w/co-workers then the afternoon is FREE. Ahhh, will probably fill it getting a head start on housework.

DH & DS are spending the night w/the Scouts at the Air & Space museum & DD15 is off to a party. I need to do some work and get started on some final papers due in a few weeks. Otherwise, a pretty quiet, relaxing weekend. It's supposed to be warm so I plan to throw the kids outside as much as possible.
