i am, i just can't do it anymore. i tried insentives, i tried getting upset(which wasn't hard), i tried plastic panties. she is just refusing to go unless i tell her too. she has been trained for more than a year and used to be fine. i am done telling her to go every so often only to have her undies already wet and have her peeing on everything.
i had her go back in diapers. i make her put them on and change them herself(i'm hoping she realizes it is more comfortable and a lot easier to just go on the potty and wear undies, plus i refuse to change a 4year old's diaper when they know how to go).
when she chooses, herself, to go on the potty, she can take off her diaper and go. if she can show me she is choosing to go when she needs to, she can have her undies back. until then.... i'm done fighting it and putting so much into something that she just refuses to do.
i am taking her into the doctor today just in case. also she has to be potty trained to go to her preschool so i'm hoping that not being able to go(their rules not mine) will push her to use the potty again too.
ugg, my oldest had many relapses and it took just over a year. when she was finally done, my 2nd dd(one i'm still doing now) wanted to start... it has been over a year. i have now been potty training for 2.5 years! i am so so so done!
