Are you going to have your children vaccinated against H1N1?
Yes, as soon as the shots are available
I'll think about it, but I'm not rushing
Probably not
No, I am concerned about the safety of it
No, we do not vaccinate

My son has asthma so I will try to get him vaccinated as well as getting his regular flu shot.  The flu can be dangerous to asthmatics.

I will also try to get myself vaccinated as I am also asthmatic and I work in a high school with a very large student body. (4500 students.)

Well, my sons are 22 and 25 y/o and at the mercy of the military... and I haven't heard if they're going to be pushed to get the vaccination.  My daughter and I work in nursing homes, with the frail elderly, and our employers are STRONGLY recommending that we get the vaccine as a means of protecting our patients, just as we are strongly encouraged to get the regular influenza vaccine to protect our patients.... even those who get the vaccines sometimes don't develop enough immunity to prevent the illness because the frail elderly usually have compromised immune systems.  So those of us who have healthy immune systems have to do what we can to protect them.

I am a health care worker, so I will probably get it as to not bring it home.  I am interested in the girls getting it but not Paul since he is still at home and he has seasonal allergies which may make him more prone to a bad reaction.  The thought of all 6 of us at home sick is enough to make me sick to my stomach lol.
