Hi ladies. I am glad to be here with you again. I tried to rest but to no avail as I have a lot of responsibilities but am thankful to be feeling better. I have allergies and it has been hot here.

I have worked  a lot of days on my job  and my DH has asked me to help him with issues here at the complex and to handle all the finances and  I feel like I have 2 full time jobs now. I  do feel that his health is failing somewhat and so want to help him. If all he has to do is work that will be fine with me. I try to arrange things so I can have a whole day carefree.

I would appreciate any suggestions on just how that can be done. lol.

I lack organization skills and how to best use my time. I tend to do things on the spur of the moment. For example I will run to the bank and get cashiers checks and pay some pressing bills but the small things pile up on me. I get tired in the whole process of finances as it is not my stronger suit. Everything gets paid and I get worn out. lol.

Let me know how you have been and how you cope with these issues. Take care. MaryAnne

Make a list every night with your priorities on top - cross off as you do it - you get less sidetracted - and for example - if you have errands to do away from the house plan it on your list of where and what time you want to start - so you don't make 3 trips

You can also make a weekly list of housestuff so you can tackle one or 2 things during one day - and not get overwhelmed.

Its better to make a list at night - instead of rushing in the morning

BTW - i did not have ovarian cancer it was just a large benign mass and I had both tubes and both ovaries removed yesterday and I was home by 3:30p - the mass was only on my left ovary - but doc said just take them both out.  So no hysterrectomy(sp) - today I'm not in tremdous pain - it just feels like early stages of labor - going back to work Monday and I can drive tomorrow

Oh, Denise, I'm so sorry you had to have both removed. But, so glad it wasn't cancer! Rest up and I hope you're feeling 100% really soon!

Hi Denise. I am really glad you the cysts were only benign and that the problem has been taken care of. It is really something to be thankful for that it was not cancer. I wish you a speedy recovery. I had the same surgery done when in my 30's.

Thankyou for the tips and I will impliment them right away. I am just wearing myself out the way I have been going.

I already started taking your advice today. First of all I made a list and then proceeded.

I paid my tithes. I got gas. I went to the bank. I came home and cleaned the baseboards in the livingroom.

The weekly list will get completed today.

I am sure it feels good to be back at work again and a major problem taken care of. You must have done very well as you were out of there by 3:30. That's great. Take care. MaryAnne

Good for you

It was not a cyst - it was a large mass the size of a fist
