I am a pool girl! This is a hold over from growing up in FLorida -- I am terrified of alligators which live in lakes and rivers in FL so even though I now live in WY I am (unreasonably) terrified of swimming in the lakes/rivers. Plus out here the water is so cold!!!
At home we have a wood fired hot tub and we heat it even during the summer otherwise the regular water is just to cold for me.
