What story did you love reading, as a child?
I don't recall any book being special to me. I know I was always an A student so certainly must have kept up with assignments.
What remains to be your all-time favorite book?
That would have to be plural. Every story written by Zane Gray with "Twin Sombrero's " and "Riders of the Purple Sage" heading the list. Several movies were made based on his stories.
What book do you usually recommend to people?
I am not enough of a "book worm" to be recommending any particular book. However, I would highly recommend reading the writings of Bob Woodward about the leading up to our involvement in the Iraq war for anyone seeking the truths.
If you were a character in a book, who would you be?
The hero of course. Come riding in, pick up fair maiden from the clutches of the villain and ride off in to the sunset with hopes of a reward later.
If you could write a book, what would it be about?
Probably a instruction book about Electrical and Electronics in a practical format for those learning the professions. Backed by years of study and practical experiences. It is mind boggling the amount of books being written. Seems everyone is writing them and many six or more. Many not even good butt wipe and a waste of tree pulp. Especially those written by politicians and religious extremists. Instead of educating our society they are dumbing it down and/or polarizing our country. The same could be said about the noise passed off as music. It is scary how little so many know or seem to care about learning. College graduates need help to answer 5th grade questions on ever topic including math. Unbelievable but true. Ask the air heads what Rap group got an Emmy they will know though.
Enough rant.
