That is pretty judgemental dont you think? Who says the Walmart cashier is so uneducated she cant read the side panel of a fruit roll up box?
In this economy alot of those cashiers may hold University educations. So your theorizing leaves alot to be proven in order to make such a statement factual.
If anything it would be a cost issue, buying what is less expensive b/c of income restrictions then an education issue.
Besides the article said there were no class differences, the outcome was the same for each income level.
