Secondary Infertility

I spent over two hours at the Imaging Center.  They did two mammograms and a very long sonogram.  The microcalcifications have changed.  I am waiting for a call from my doctor to schedule the sterotactic needle biopsy.  I had to google it and to be honest, I am not sure I am glad I did.  At least I know what to expect.  I  am hoping to get an appt as soon as possible!  I just can't stand being in limbo about it anymore! 

My dd and her boyfriend came by this evening.  They live in West Va. and it was great to see her.  Brian and B made her a cake and I made her a card.  They visited for about two hours, so that was a bright spot in my day! 

(((HUGS))) Angie!  I hope you can get the needle biopsy done quickly so you can put your mind at ease.  I've not had one done, but I've heard it's more uncomfortable than anything, it feels like a needle stick. 

I'm glad you got to visit with your DD on her birthday. :)

I had a surgical biopsy on one breast (which I was awake for) and a needle aspiration biopsy on the other. Both are very painful and uncomfortable. The waiting game was the worst. I had this done over 10 and 15 years ago. Hopefully technology has changed since then.

So sorry you are having to do all this.  I hope they get you scheduled soon and you get it over and can move on with an easy mind.  I am so glad you got to spend the day with your DD and of course have some cake!!  Now stay away from google you always get the worst case of everything there.  KUP and I will be sending extra prayers your way.
