Shoestring Budgeting

Today we walked to do our errands

We walked from home to the
the bank
the post office
the eye doctor (DD's glasses needed adjusting)
the grocery store (we only need a bit)
than home

Total time spent one hour (including visiting with the neighbor and watching the electric men string wire)

Only time the kids sort of whined was when it was time to go home. They didn't want to go home yet.

We saw many store we want to check out/visit. We have to remember the downtown opens later than the rest of the world.

It was a good morning LOL

It is nice it is one reason we picked the house we did.

Oh and all our walking was on sidewalks.

That is great!  I looked it up on a website and we are really within a couple of miles of everything we could need.  the thing is there are no sidewalks and busy roads.  I can't take my 4 kids with me for that. I have noticed since we have been here though that they are beginning to put in sidewalks here and there, so maybe within a few years there will be enough that we could walk?  I can hope right?  It sounds like you had a great morning.
