Hi,

Just wondering why my beautiful signature (created by sigsbydedi) has disappeared?

I have been away from the South Beach Diet message board for about 3 months, but I am back, and saw that my signature was gone and a message was in it's place stating that it had been either moved or deleted.

Does anyone know how I can get it back?  Or do I need to make a request for another one to be made?

Hey Christina! You will have to request another one, if you want one by Dedi again you can request her specifically in the Request a maker section, otherwise just ask in the regular request spot.

Your sig disappeared bc you were "hotlinking" it. Meaning you did not save it to your computer and upload it to an image hosting site. If you just copy and paste the sig then you are using the maker's bandwidth and when the maker cleans out her hosting site you end up with that ugly box ;o) HTH!!

Thank you for your reply!  I appreciate the clarification.  The thing is, I did save it to Photo Bucket as was originally requested, that's why I was perplexed it was gone.  Perhaps I didn't process it all correctly.  

Anyway, I went back onto photobucket and have since retrieved my original siggy, tested it, and it seems to work fine. Well, it did yesterday, so we'll see with this message :)

Hey Christina.

Did you perhaps change the name of the folder your sig is in in PB? Or move it to a different folder? That will break the link and make your sig not show up anymore.

Just a thought. Glad you got it worked out! :-)
