My DD is 10 months old and she is ST for naps and night time. She is definitely an early bird and we feel lucky when she sleeps until 6:15. Her bedtime is at 7:45 which I know is a little late, but it was 7:30 for a long time and she would never sleep until 6. When we pushed it back 15 more minutes she started sleeping to 6:15 or so. She got a cold a few weeks ago and she started waking up early again (5:15-5:30) AHHH. I have started pushing back her bedtime for the time change next week and she is not sleeping any later!! I am so afraid that she is going to wake up at 4am the next week because she is not sleeping any later. I know that it can be hard to change wake up times, but do yall have any ideas on how to get her back to her normal 6am??  I thought that I might try putting her to bed earlier to see if that worked, but I want to wait until after the time changes so that I can try to transition her. Any ideas??

I have also been attempting to adjust my baby for daylight savings. It started out great, he was sleeping longer, and then on the weekend, he went back to his regular wake time despite a later bedtime. My plan is to stick to the new schedule and hope it is just taking him a little longer to adjust. Once we move the clocks, I will pick a 'minimum' start to my day and leave him to CIO if needed.

One thing you need to make sure you are adjusting on top of the bedtime, is all meals. So if she does wake at 5:30am, you still don't nurse/feed until 6:15am or whatever your time is. If you don't like CIO, then at least take your time getting to her, take your time feeding her, and hopefully that belly will help her adjust her sleep schedule.
