Tonight on "Survivor," a really boring episode yields absolutely no surprises. But next week is the merge!!!

Foa Foa
Our favorite (?) underdogs seem to really think the tide has turned after last time when Galu lost Russell and they were saved from sending anyone home. This turns out to be drastically false.

Galu
The guys at Galu get together and realize they need to snag Shambo into their alliance before the girls snatch her away. They very smartly approach Shambo about being the new leader and even though she acts like it's no big thang, you can tell she's like, "Duh. I should've been the leader all along."

The way in which they get her elected leader is really smart too. They just spring it on the girls and have everyone show a number at the same time (each person was assigned a number) and there were enough dudes voting for Shambo (including Shambo) that the other girls' votes didn't even matter. And they don't even seem to really realize they were played.

Jeff Probst's Blog....

Fair Warning:
I haven’t been feeling too well for the past few days, so tonight as I sat down to write this I took a Zyrtec. It certainly cleared up my sinus issue but in doing so has made me really drowsy.  Major drowsy. So this is my first blog written under the influence of an “over the counter, readily available at any pharmacy” drug. Here goes…

This season is very boring.  I don't have a favorite at all since Russell from Galu left.  He was the only one that seemed interesting to me.  The rest are boring.   I am glad they are finally merging.  I am hoping Evil Russell doesn't brainwash Galu into voting along with him.  Gosh I want him to be voted out.  I just can't seem to watch him.  He bothers me.

I thought FOR SURE that Jaison was going to volunteer to leave or just quit last night.  When Jeff asked him about his moodiness at tribal council...I thought "that's it...he's out of here"...but nope!  Liz had to go...  I got points in the Survivor game for Liz going but I wasn't happy.  She deserved to stay over Jaison.  Poo...

I'm anxious for next week's merge...maybe that will bring some much needed life into this very depressing game.
