For some reason, I have always wanted to go to Holland. That is where our "Amazing Race" teams were off to tonight, and all on the same plane, too. As nice as the whole thing should have been, the episode was destroyed for me when two teams showed incredible levels of ridiculousness.

Now, I've complained in the past about things bunching up and teams that were way ahead ending up tied with everyone else, but Meghan & Cheyne were way out in front only because they had done a pretty easy Fast Forward. I was happy to see things even out tonight when everyone ended up on the same plane.

Once in Holland, though, Meghan & Cheyne were still the first team to try to count the bells in the carillon for the Road Block. That looked like an incredibly hard task. There were big bells, small bells, hidden-looking areas and 62 bells in total. That's a lot of room for error, even more than in one of those "count the steps" tasks, which still aren't easy. It was actually Matt who finished the task first, even though Meghan was working with Sam.

Wow!!! I think this is a first in a long time that I am really liking all the teams that are racing.  My least favorite teams have all gone home.  I did feel sorry for the girls though.  I hate to see teams go because they can't complete a challenge.  (I am talking about the ones that try really hard but for some reason they just can't complete it.)  I was actually hoping for a non-elimination round if the girls did complete the task and came it last.  However they finally just gave up.  I am sure they were exhausted.

Yikes I am not sure I am going to like next weeks episode.  The Haybale challenge is back.  That challenge was really hard!!!

I agree with you Vicky!  I like all the teams that are left.  I was glad to see the poker girls go, but I did feel kind of sorry for them that they couldn't complete the task.  My daughter is rooting for Matt and Gary to win, and I am either going for them, or the Globetrotters.

Why do I not remember the haybale challenge?  For some reason I thought I had never missed an episode of TAR but this shows me that I have.

Like you two I like all of the remaining teams as well.  Because of that I end up changing who I'm rooting for every week.  I guess the good news is that we are not going to HATE who wins this year.

You will never guess which past TAR contestant I saw on Animal Planet a couple of weeks ago.  Team Guido...they were talking about how their dog made them famous.  They have really aged...I guess it has been a number of years since that very first season hasn't it.

I remember the hay bale challenge.  It eliminated one of my favorite teams that season, the sisters from Utah.  I'm still sad about it.
