Is everyone busy making holiday gifts? Too busy to stop in to say hello?

I hope everyone is staying warm and having fun! But, let me know what you're doing!! :D

Halloween costumes, actually. After killer super project at work, a week's vacation and a long-planned weekend activity, I started a week ago Monday & finished last night. (I am NOT entering any costuming contests in the "workmanship" category.)

"Susan, death's Grandaughter" (For those of you not familiar with the works of Terry Pratchet, and even for those who are, it's a "Disney's Snow White" costume, done in black with silver "stripes" on the sleaves & a grey cloak.)

DH is doing older daughter's costume, "Death". Basic black tunic & robe, with hood.

Costume Central here too.  I whipped off a Darth Vader cape for DS's Annakin Skywalker costume, and today am finishing off an Ewok hood for youngest DS.  The other kids are borrowing costumes, or using things we already had this year.  Phew!  We will have: Dracula, a mad scientist, a Ninja, bad-guy Annakin Skywalker, and Wicket (an Ewok from Star Wars).  Fun!

While searching my stash for the right color fabric for the Ewok hood, I found the fabric & pattern I bought last winter for the Christmas stockings I want to make for the family.  I'm leaving it all out so that once I recover from Halloween sewing I'll be ready to jump in on the stockings.  :)
