Our state just changed the assessment test from fall back to spring. They've moved it back and forth over the years and finally figured out that fall doesn't make a lot of sense. This year we tested in both fall and spring to establish new spring norms so it took a lot of time away from instruction. Teachers are really tired of giving tests! Have you finished your spring standardized tests? How did it go? Any comments?
