As a Christian, my faith is such an important part of my life that I don't see it as something that I have to find time for. It's a part of who I am. Faith and practice of faith comes first in our home. Everything else is secondary.

I also don't view my faith as "religion". It's an ongoing relationship that like any other, needs to be fostered and grown.

For us, faith is not just about attending Sunday worship. While important, Sunday gathers are a very small, but important, part of our faith practice. We live out our faith daily. Be it in ministry service, small groups, bible studies, prayer teams, personal devotions, leading worship, editing sermons, couple and family devotions, or time in prayer together as a family.

I can't imagine our lives without our faith being so ingrained.

Yeah! What she said. And when I think I'm "too busy" to attend Bible study, go to church, pray, etc., then I am really just a hamster on a wheel, running really fast and going nowhere. *L*

I agree with the others - our faith has always been such a big part of our family/life/etc. that it was never a problem to 'find time' for it.  The boys were always very involved in church, youth group, etc. from the time they were babies all the way through high school.  I guess I don't see it as a balancing act at all!

Nope.. no problem here.

I am agnostic. Religion has no part of my life.

It is always intwined in our lives, church is something we do on Sundays, we don't think of it.  We say our devotions, because it reminds us that God is with us and listening at all times.  It is also great to remind a kid that we are not just Lutheran for an hour that we sit in the pew, but at all times, and they have reminded me of that every now and then as well.
