As of last Monday I had wonderful news BFP!!!  I was just waiting for Karl to get back from hunting to tell him.  The doctors were ordering bloodwork to monitor the hcg level.  Everything seemed fine, no news on Friday.  So it should all be good. Well the doctors office called today.  Last Monday I was at 37 hcg and 29 progesterone and then Wednesday 67, Friday's however was at 70.  They asked I go get the blood work done today as well.  They called a few hours ago, it is now 50.  The baby, our sweet pea is not going to make it.  I have to have more blood work to make sure that my body moves on and nothing gets more complex.  I can't start trying for around another 4-6 weeks.

I so wish this was going to be different.

I was so hoping for happy news.  I guess I should be grateful for the 6 days I was happy.  It was the first time in over 13 months I was feeling optimistic.  Now I'm just scared.  It seems I can get pregnant, now the new question is, can I stay pregnant?

Oh hon, of course you'll be able to stay pregnant!  Any mention that this might have been a chemical pregnancy?  I don't know that much, but it seems like with your low numbers and quick drop after the BFP, it might be a possibility.  Ya know, I've known a number of gals to get pg immediately after a chemical pg.  Anything is possible.  I know that doesn't take away the hurt now, and I know that hearing "well, you know you can get pg" makes no difference at all now.  {{{HUGS}}} Take care of yourself...get lots of hugs and snuggles from your sweetheart because you need them right now.  We're here for you, ok?
