The Kid brought his roommate to town for the weekend. He seems ok, so far. Very gregarious. They haven't slept here, but did eat once and spent an hour or two here just visiting with me. Busy running around, otherwise. I do know for sure that The Kid is drinking again, though! Not happy to hear it, but have reminded myself "it is not my problem" over and over until I'm pretty sure I believe it! LOL New phrase..."I have a path, he has a path...that is not my path"! He is going to class and seems to like college so far, so that's a positive. Seems like they hang around campus most of the time and that is a good thing! Also, the roommate needs to get a job, so maybe The Kid will get one,too! That would be really good!
Been busy at work since the layoffs...working overtime now to catch up with all the stuff that has to get done with 114 fewer ppl to do the jobs! Idiots run the place...what can I say...they need more ppl like me! LOL
