Love that this message board is still going strong! I don't know what I would have done without those good friends when my "boys" were teens! They saved my sanity many, many...MANY times!

Yes! I would probably have lived through dd's teen years without the board but I don't know if my sanity would have survived! A while back I went through the archives and reread some of my posts from TEN YEARS ago, a lot of them written at 3 or 4 in the morning while I was waiting for the police to find her. Even now when I read them I can still feel the hopelessness and pain that I thought was going to last forever. I remember when dd was 12 and 13 and 14 saying I was never going to survive until she was 18 but I did! So did you! And so will the ones going through it now!
