Sidney turns 6 Tuesday. I just sent out invitations for her birthday party today which is Sunday afternoon at a city park that we don't have reserved because it was less than a week notice!! First come first serve....

I have two RSVPs  so far.

Plus the uncertainty of all the wonderful things going on in our family lately.

Uuugh!!!

Guilty parenting is the worst way to go. lol

Good things is I've got her gifts. Have a special surprise planned out for Tuesday. Surprise just incase it doesn't work out. Think I might get her a kitten/cat. Well see what metro (the killing shelter has), however, I'm tempted to go to the no kill because I want to get a good one. Not sure we are the best pet owners. lol So I need an animal who helps us with our handicap.

Any thoughts or suggestions?? Michelle???

Naturally, I'm going to recommend going to the "killing" shelter (this is the kind that practices euthanasia?), because you are saving a life! My last 2 cats have come from ours, and....I could be wrong, but it seems like they are almost so grateful to be saved that they are REALLY good pets! Now that I've said that, someone will have a horror story about an adopted SPCA pet, LOL! My latest one, Waffles---gorgeous tortoise shell (i'm sure you've seen her on my Facebook pics) calico was from SPCA. Of course, she was an adult cat when we adopted her. But she has SUCH a good disposition and is extra sweet. It's not really "kitten season" right now, but you may find some. Promise me you'll CHECK the "killing" shelter FIRST!

And a very happy 6th birthday to Sidney!!!! :-)
