We are still waiting on the official word from my brother's biopsy. His dr is trying to get a 3rd opinion as to how it should be graded. His original tumors are grade 2 and she is torn between grade 2 and 3 for this new one. The reason it is important is because it will detemine which treatment route he'll take. She is also taking his case to the neuro-oncologist board meeting this week and will ask opinions there. He's supposed to hear back tomorrow (Friday).
His tumors have been "controversial" since the get-go. When his oncologist went on a leave to europe for a convention she brought his case with her to get international opinions...famous tumors...lol. I guess they aren't behaving as expected so it's hard to grade them.
Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers...I'll update again when I know more.
