Empty Nest

I'm Deb and just dropping by as it has been awhile.

Nutshell catch up:

Daughter is now gainfully employed.

Hubby switched jobs and we're staying in the area versus moving to California.

Hubby was traveling a lot and then spent two weeks in Iran. He got to see his father one last time in July and the dear man passed away less then 48 hours after hubby arrived home.

We've been car shopping for me.

We celebrated our 30th anniversary on 8/15.

Hubby is in China until 9/14.

I have jury duty on 9/8 and hopefully no longer then 9/12.

Son moved into new digs last weekend.

Son starts class on 9/24.

Oh and daughter is getting a new tattoo.

Guess September isn't going to be as peaceful as I had hoped, LOL!

Hubby is in China until 9/14. What's he doing in China? Was he there during the Olympics?

I'm sorry about your FIL. It's nice, though, that your dh got to see him before he passed away.

I've never had jury duty. Strangely, I'd kind of like to, just to see what it is like! But they always seem to pick people who have busier lives than I have, lol.

I have a birthday this month. I'd just as soon skip it, though and stay the age I am. ....Unless I can deduct years!
