Hi, and welcome! I know what you mean about not going anywhere. The only place my dh wanted to go was camping, and I am not a "happy camper"!  I finally told him, a few months ago, that if we didn't go somewhere I wanted to go sometime soon, I'd go alone!  I meant it too!

He agreed to go on a couple short trips - one of about 3 or 4 days to Mackinac Island, MI and another day trip to Door County, WI.  We had a good time (I had a great time!) and I saw places and did things I'd wanted to see and do for years.

Of course, then I had to go with him for a little camping, lol!

I think you should just pick somewhere you want to go - even if it's just a movie or something (start small, lol) - and tell him you're going nuts sitting around the house and if he won't go with you, then you'll go by yourself!  And then if he still won't get off the couch, go to that movie alone!  I admit, a trip might be a little hard to go on alone (unless you're as desperate as I was, lol), but as for a movie, I go alone to movies a lot, because dh doesn't care for movies (gasp!).

Good luck. Sometimes all these guys need is a good push in the right direction!

Click and go to the Movies!

LOL, no you're not. We have one kid living at home until she can afford to move out and one at college. I don't even wait on my hubby to get his butt up and go out with me, I just go.

If I had a grandchild, you can bet I wouldn't even wait for gramps to log off the computer to go see the little one. I'd be in that car and heading down the highway by myself. I used to take trips like that during the year while the oldest was in college and she was 5 hours away.

Last weekend I suggested to hubby that we take a trip to my favorite fruit stand or over the mountains to pick up several crates of apples and look at leaves this upcoming weekend. He just grunted and said, "Maybe". Okay, well if doesn't happen, then I'll be going by myself. Sometimes it is nice just to hit the road alone.
