Pet Bereavement

Hi All,

 I hope this works ,if you go to the bottom of my page after my name,hopefully you will see a picture of me with my lil boy. This picture was taken the day after barkley came to live here. Its hard to see but he is giving his mom kisses. This was the  beginning of a special loving journey, a journey that went so fast and ended too soon.

A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water log stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if your rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he'll give you his. How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary?

Oh Barkley's Mom - your picture and your boy are both beautiful! Thank you for sharing such a personal moment in your life with us. I know it has to tug at your heart strings to look at it - but I hope it will bring smiles as well.

I had a black poodle once named Cupid who looks like he could've been Barkley's dad! Maybe they are playing together!

Oh how I wish I had that long of a life with Stuart! 9 1/2 years was too short especially when 2 of those years he lived with my dad. Bless my dad for seeing our special relationship and officially giving him to me. My dad loved him so much but knew we needed to be together. I know that no time, no matter how many years, is long enough however...
