OK - so Aida (momma cat) has long since figured out how to get over the gate I have been using (for those not in the know, I don't use a baby gate - I bought a rabbit pen and use that - taller sides and not as easy to climb).  However, I was sitting in the living room on Tuesday and....Daisy came moseying down the hallway.  Drat - she figured it out too.  I hate it when that happens.  ;)

Anyhow, Wednesdays and Thursdays can be late nights for me, so I left the girls shut in the bathroom.  This morning - nothing doing.  I opened the door and they ran like mad.  :)  So, we will see what happens.  Aida is the biggest pain - she is positive the back of the condo belongs to her and charges my cats.  And since everyone feared April (the last momma cat), they run from Aida which only encourages her.

Good news - Aida is due to be spayed next Thursday and get her dental.  If all goes well, she can go to the Petsmart adoption events on Saturday and Sunday with me and hopefully find a home!!  The kittens are just 8 weeks, so not quite big enough to be spayed.  I have a local low cost clinic that will help me out with them and then get them out and about too.

LOL I guess they are ready to get out of the bathroom when you get home.  That's too bad that Aida is terrorizing your cats.  I hope all well go well with her spay on Thursday and she will find a forever home right away.  I'm sure the kittens will find forever homes when they are old enough.

That makes me think of Poppy and her kittens last fall.  When I would open the door to the room I had them in I would have mama and 2 kittens scatter through the house.  William quickly learned to help me with the kitten round up whenever we went in there. LOL

Things went well.  And everyone was out over the weekend too.  I just wish the guys wouldn't run from her - it only encourages her.

Gotta work on a plan to keep her separate from the girls and everyone else Wednesday night since she won't be allowed food.  I have a big airline crate I think I will set her up in.  And then Thursday night too since she will be just out of surgery.

The girls were cute over the weekend.  Daisy slept on me Sunday afternoon and Minnie napped with me yesterday.  Mouse is warming up, but she just always looks concerned when I grab her.  :)  All four were playing yesterday - you can tell Aida isn't very old since she seems to have just as much fun chasing the girls as they have chasing her.

I am lucky at night - head to the bathroom and crack a can of food and the girls will follow.  LOL

That's so cute that Daisy and Minnie napped with you.  I'm sure that Mouse will eventually come around.  I hope Aida's surgery goes well.  That's too easy getting them in the bathroom at night!  lol
