Cats & Kittens

So, I took the girls back on Sunday.  Since I had to "adopt" them, I technically had to "return" them.  And there wasn't a good reason to choose either as I was booking them back into the system.  I had to list "unwanted" and it broke my heart.   But they were spayed Wednesday and were bouncing around last night when I stopped to check on them.

Also, work has been NUTS!!  I would like to say I am up to my eyeballs, but I think it might be worse than that.

And to add to the fun, a cough started Sunday and I was diagnosed with bronchitis on Tuesday.  Off work Wednesday as I felt like I had been run over (several times) but a very large truck.  Better now, but still very tired and the hacking cough is getting old.  The nurse practictioner at the clinic where I went offered to give me a note for a couple of days off....yeah, like I have time for that right now.  I plan to crash this weekend.

I did pick up another pair of foster kittens.  They are MAYBE 3 weeks old (mobile and blue eyes).  Orange tabby (male) and brown tabby (female) now named OJ and Cider.  They are MESSY!!!!  They are always hungry and then stand in the food dish and slurp.  Covered from head to tail in kitten food.  :)

I bet that was hard to have to turn the girls in and have to put as unwanted on theirpaperwork.  I hope they will all get their forever homes quickly. 

That's not fun being so busy at work and being sick on top of all you have to do.

Awww, those kittens sounds just adorable, but messy little kids.  I know being with you that you can get them ready to find their forever homes when they are old enough.

Hope you have a nice weekend and get feeling better.  It's fairly warm and rainy here.  We did have a couple of mornings of frost early in the week.
