He seems fine. My 4 yr old left out 2 cookies and the cat got a hold of them. Do you think he will be ok? I know chocolate is not good for animals. He seems fine now. TIA

Call your vet--don't take chances with your cat's health.

Actually, he should be fine.  A quick call to your vet won't hurt, but they have to eat almost their body weight from what I understand for it to have a negative effect.  Plus, the higher the chocolate content makes a difference too - I presume it wasn't bakers chocolate in the cookies.

I smiled when I read this - my 7 yr old kitties one night found a bag of m&ms I was planning to send to my SIL.  Tim ripped open the bag and was shoving them one at a time over the side of the counter to his brother Tommy.  Which isn't nearly as bad as the night Tim got my pill box open and I discovered Tommy ate one of my birth control pills......  fine both times.  Though the vet got a good laugh about the pill (I didn't call about the m&ms....).

Good luck....and keep us posted!
