Carla, it's been awhile.  How is Whimsy doing?  Did he ever start gaining weight again?  My Grimmy was just diagnosed with Diabetes a week ago and the vet said that weight loss is a symptom of that as well - there's just so many things it could be.  I hope your vet was able to figure it out.

Whimsy was just stressed over the move.  He has gained his weight back and then some.  He lost down to 6 pounds!  He is now weighing in at a whopping 11 pounds.  He has GROWN so much.  He turned a year old in July.  I have since gotten him a brother, since I think he was also stressed about being the "only" cat for the first time ever.  He loves his new brother, Sisi.  (pronounced: See See) Whimsy is solid black and his new brother is solid white.  They are quite the pair.  But the story doesn't end there.  We are moving again.  But this time, Whimsy will have Sisi with him, so maybe it will be easier on them both. We are moving on Nov. 14, back to New Hampshire!  We are very happy to be going HOME.

Thanks for asking about and remembering Whimsy!

Carla

Carla, what great news!  I'm so glad to hear that he's flourished so much!  And congrats on the new addition - Sisi!  I hope your move goes well and that both cats settle in quickly.  Maybe Whimsy will "know" that you're back home, and feel better about this move.  :)
