I hope your baby is still doing well. Money is hard to come by..but unless its impossible personally I would get that lump removed. If not painful, it must be building up in pressure, just like when a person has an abcess. 

  Definitley compare vet prices. There really is a huge diffrence in the prices your being quoted.

  Recently my cat needed dental surgery. I knew this because he has gingivitis. I searched on the internet and found a local vet that would do the first visit free-that saved me 59.00 dollars. The surgery only came to 180.00 dollars.

     I really hope this helps some.
