Hi everyone...and Welcome to Wednesday....  I've been keeping busy lately...this morning I had a breakfast meeting and this evening another networking meeting.  Tomorrow I'll spend most of the morning having new tires put on my Blazer....the tires I have are "really" bad....but since DH has to be here at the Studio I'll just have to wait to have them put on.

DH and I switch times here at the Studio...we feel that one of us should be here at all times just in case a potential client calls or drops in.  I usually stay on Mondays and Wednesdays, and then I close on Saturday's.  Yesterday DH went home early to do some work on the house, since it rained all day Sunday, so I closed up.  I told him I would stay late again tonight so that he could go home and take the girls to the park....we always feel guilty that we have so little time to spend with them unless DH goes home to spend time with them.

Do you ever feel guilty about not spending enough time with your furkids?

I don't usually have any guilt over the amount of time I spend with Missy - but she usually has a couple of hours with me in the morning, I go home for lunch and spend a little time with her, and when I get off work at 4 or so, I'm normally home for the night.  She gets plenty of my time, though she'd always want more.

I don't know if my girls would necessarily want more time with us, but I do know that Samantha wants to be with her "daddy" all the time.  Now that she has a little trouble going up and down the stairs we have to watch her; when DH goes upstairs to the den she'll often try to follow.  That's when I'll sometimes hear a "crash" and realize she's slipped down some stairs in her quest to be right next to DH.

It's not something I usually feel guilty about, but when we've been away for a trip while someone is watching them or if we just have a busy weekend when we're running around for most of it, I will feel badly that they're at home waiting for us. Overall, though, I think our girls get to spend a lot of time with us and even are a little spoiled in ways like sleeping with us at night, so it's really the rare occasions that I feel like we're shortchanging them on bonding time.
