I heard a small blurb on the evening news that congress is considering a tax credit for owners of cats and dogs. The amount discussed it approx $500 less than the amount for a child's credit. I haven't heard or seen anything since. I know I was awake when I heard it! ;-)

I heard that too Kathy! I do think they're considering it but I'm not sure how long it would take to become effective/active. I would sooooo love to have a pet credit. Dh mentions quite frequently that they all need to get jobs to help pay their vet bills and this pet bill would really help.

I'm soooo glad you heard that too! I was begining to think I was imagining it. Of course, all of our local news stations right now are centered on the serial killings of Sowell. All other news is pushed in the background. What a horrible thing to have happened to all those women......

It's a horrible thing. Those poor women. I feel for them and their families.
