Do you clip your own pets nails or do you leave it to your vet/groomer?

If you do your own nails, do you use clippers or one of those new pet groomer things or just a dremel?

The fact that animals do not possess an eternal soul in the sense that man does, does not de-emphasize their value as companions to man. Pets can and do become an important part in the lives of millions. Also, in man's charge over the animal kingdom, it behooves man to protect and not abuse the animals (Gen. 1: 26-28).

I clip both of my boys nails by myself with a nail clipper.

I am *very* happy that Mika's groomer does it, along with giving Mika a bath, and a trim every 6 weeks. :P

Blessings,

I do everyones nails myself. It normaly takes me about half an hour to clip the claws on all 6 animals. To have to drag them to a groomers or vets and then pay someone else to do it seems silly to me.

My DH IS the groomer! so we do our own. I use a clipper but we do have a dremel too. I start shortly after puppies are born- I use a human nail clipper then - they get nails done about 1x per week right along.
