We made a day out of going to the vets office. We started at 8am with Max, then had 1:30 for Krystal. We finished off the day with the 4:00 for the cats and to pick up Max. By doing it all in one day we get a nice break on the bill.
We will care for Max and try and give him the best life we can. At least we know we could be in for a rough ride with him in a few years. DH will have the plans for a doggie cart and be ready to build one if we need to. The down side is we will have to put in a stair gate that is 80 lb proof so Max can't fall down the stairs. The up side is YDD wants to be a vet and the best place for surgery will be the school she wants to go to.
